Mike Gorham, famed singer of the Metal Rules! Radio theme song, and all around awesome guy, is our guest host for this weeks show.  Check out his channel on YouTube.

We start out with a solid 17 minutes of round table and then jump right into the Grab Bag of Metal!

First up, Carbon 9.

We listen to Tiberius Project.

The funny thing about guests of the Metal Rules! Radio show is that 99% of the time they are excited to talk to us and follow through on their plans to stop by, call in, or wait anxiously by the phone for us to call them.  BUT… There is that 1% of the guests that DICK US OVER!  And that 1% is SPIDER!  That’s right, Spider of Powerman 5000 completely screwed us and didn’t call.  It takes a special team of guys to handle that kind of a dick over and have the show go on without a hitch.  And that special group of guys is clearly not Metal Rules! Radio.  No, instead of having a well though out backup plan, we ran around panicking trying to figure out what to do next.  So we tried calling friends of the show, and finally got a hold of Mike Mawby, former guest host on the show.  But hilarity truly found its way to the show when we spoke to Chris Kontos, who answered all of the questions we had for Spider, as Spider!  It was a huge rebound from the middle finger we received from Spider.

We jump back into the Grab Bag of Metal. This time it’s Combat.

Rob has it out with Renee!  Live on the phone!

Finally we listen to the Nigel Dupree Band and close out the show with them.

Episode 19 – The Legend of Sleepy Angus

Stunt Jeremy is in!  Mike is our guest host this week.  We listen to Dreamcatcher, and it didn’t particularly lift any of our skirts.  But hey, listen in. You may dig ‘em.  We talk to Jeff Becerra of Possessed.  Angus reviews Lions Share and Gwar.  We jump right back into the music and listen to NAD… you be the judge.  But as you’re listening, here’s the link to DONG (You’ll understand when you listen)!  We listen to Elderhead, and wind it all up with a little Southern Cross, a band that we highly recommend.

ALERT!!!  Cover our theme song, time is running out!  You have until October 31, 2009 to submit your cover for a chance to win a little love from the show.  DO IT!  NOW!
