In 1997 I had an idea of how to get free CD’s and meet Rockstars. A shitty 22 page zine was born called Metal Rules!. I brought on a killer crew that equally had no idea what they were doing and soon we had an actual magazine. We wrote whatever we felt like and said whatever we felt and people not only read it, they liked it. I still can’t believe how fast and large it grew and soon we were in hundreds of stores and had actual fans ourselves. In keeping with the integrity of the magazine we never sold out although we could have many times. In the end it became too expensive and time consuming for me to do the magazine anymore so we stopped. But we never went away. Often I missed the magazine and missed the guys. So we would talk about doing another issue but it never came to fruition. Well, now there is fruition. We are going to do a podcast the only way we know how to do it. Our way. I’m pretty sure the show, like the magazine, will basically suck until we get into our groove but you will still be amused. Stick with us because we will get better and will surely worm our way into millions of hearts this time around instead of thousands.
