Episode 17 – Ripper vs. Terrell
In this episode, Angus is drinking… again… AND we talk to Tim “Ripper” Owens! Or at least we try to right off the bat. Until we get his answering machine. But have no fear, we get to talk to him later on. Jeff forgets how to eat roast beef. On a sad note, this is Jeremy’s last episode as a weekly host, but we think we can talk him into coming back to do spots here and there. Reviews include Process of Guilt, Into the Presence, and Memory Driven.

Episode 16 – Calvert, Kontos, and Crackheads
Josh is Back! And thinner than ever…. He gives us a scene report of when we saw his friends band Bound by Nothing. In addition, he saw Don’t Panic, who are all short, and Trust Company. Jeff reviews Pestilence, and can’t remember anything about the album other than it has a skull on the cover. We interview Tim Calvert, formerly of the bands Forbidden and Nevermore. Josh reviews Philly drivers, right before we interview Chris Kontos, drum slut. We listen to some of his work after the interview, including the tracks Glide and The Rage to Overcome.

Episode 15: What’chu Talkin’ ‘Bout Josh
We start the show off with a rousing tale from Jeff about angel dust and crying. Quickly then to Jeff’s Grab Bag of Metal. Elenium – Caught in a Wheel. Moving onward we, Rob, interviews Edie McClurg (Ferris Bueller’s Day Off, The Hogan Family). Sadly we just had a few tech quirks at that exact time. Jeff’s mic was coming across too hot causing it to break up (we believe) on Edie’s speaker phone. You mostly hear Rob doing the interview. Towards the end we got Jeff’s mic working better. Jeff did all this work to set the interview up and in the end hardly got any questions in. Isn’t technology great? The show took a turn when we heard way too much about his prostate exam. From there we tumble into What’s Wrong with Jeff! Amazingly there’s a lot. He lost his electricity, his router died, his toe is infected and he has a random hive. We wrap the show with an impromptu call to Josh.

Episode 14: I Just Got A Text Message
Welcome to the show—we are sans Josh this evening. We’ve discovered that Josh is on a hunger strike until the show starts getting more reviews on iTunes. We start off with an interview of Metal bassist legend and grandfather, Terry Butler! Terry plays bass in Six Feet Under in case you were wondering. Rob brings up the new Alice in Chains CD. Apparently Layne Staley is dead. From there we jump right into “Jeff’s Grab Bag of Metal”. Anonymous Horses – Neigh! Sayers. Jeff wonders if they were influenced by Horse the Band. Next band up is Simbios – Bounded In Adversity and Naked Mental Violence.

Episode 13: Clubber Lang Bent My Penis
Did you know that you can drink at fully nude strip bars in Canada? Canadians rule! Jeff tells us how he was attacked by a “Wolverine”. There was alcohol involved in the story. Dethklok and The Goon will be teaming up in comic book form! Awesome. Then on to the reviews!! Josh and Angus talk about Probot, Dave Grohl’s project with a bunch of metal guys. Josh hates Led Zepplin. Angus reviews Clutch – Strange Cousins from the West and some how we end up talking about Pantera and Down. Josh and Jeff do their best Phil impressions. Josh brings up Opeth, trying to bring the proverbial ship around to talk about what brought us into Metal. We wrap the show with a rousing round of “What’s Wrong with Jeff?” and Jeremy and Jeff talk about the band Sweet. Friend of the show, Stuart Smith, is in the band Sweet now. He sent in their newest release Live in America for us to sample. Fun fact: Angus watches the Food Network. He says to try his Cheese Cake.
